The Living Spaces catalog is released four times a year and is an opportunity for us to showcase our furniture in the most beautiful homes and settings. Every single one of our books includes unique content that is created specifically for that season. Our Spring 2017 book is the ninth catalog that i've produced for Living Spaces and although the process itself lasts a tedious three months it's one of my favorite projects to be apart of.

Below is a quick outline of the different stages that I'm involved in when it comes to producing the catalog.
My involvement starts early on in working with the Production Designer and Buyers in finalizing product. I then meet with the Production Designer and Art Director to discuss rooms designs and themes for the book.
Once I've approved the furniture pairings the Production Designer will begin styling and adds the finishing touches to each room. With help from our outside vendors, such as florists and food stylists, we begin to finalize all details.
Once the product is selected it gives me a good idea of the style of home we should be looking for. I work closely with the Production Manager on scouting locations and finding the perfect home.
On the day of the shoot I work very closely with the photographer on capturing the perfect image. All things being considered like furniture placement, styling, lighting, and camera angles before giving a final approval.
In preparation for the day of the shoot all rooms are staged in advance. The Production Designer and I will walk through each room, making sure the product is being represented properly.
Once the photoshoot is completed the Art Director will work with the retoucher on finalizing images. We then work closely together on the layout and design of the book.
